No mention of Jesus taking the throne, either. I sense this date will fall by the wayside in another decade or so. The next wave of JWs will recall the 1914 teaching with the same oblivion many (who are my age) recall the 1925 teaching. Old light.

It's not "lack of natural affection" - it's a brotherhood of love. It's not a throng of medicated, miserable, fake smiles - it's JEHOVAH'S HAPPY PEOPLE. the first copy was printed july 1st 1879. well done watchtower!.
as a reminder, let people remember that in its time this magazine has one of the world’s largest print runs for a periodical.

My mums dying she refuses blood transfusion...the horror.
by Witness 007 inmum has a mild form of lukeimia if she took blood like normal people she could live to be 100. but no, anointed sisters dont compromise jehovah wont allow it.
so here i am moving to sydney for one month going to hospital everyday putting my life on hold to watch my mother die slowly.
watching her gasp for air, struggle to breath.

Hi from England
by victimofdeceit inrecently quit being a jw because i realised that beyond armageddon i was going to be ruled by people who cover up child abuse, not telling the congregations by their letter where the money they donated in the box is going towards paying compensation for legal battles which they caused, and also i was bullied by elders and discriminated against for being homosexual, even though i am not practicing it.
it wasn't until i threatened legal action for a breach of confidence that the elders were deleted.
so through the media and my own personal experience, i realised that they were no different to corrupt businesses in the world.

as a jw i would have definitely answered "yes", followed by the typical "he allows suffering, but doesn't cause it", or perhaps the "he has created us to enjoy life and wants us to be happy" mumbo jumbo.
